We are new to Montessori Schoolhouse this year and we love it! It is a microschool with really small class sizes and one-on-one instruction, which is really beneficial for children who need that kind of learning. The Montessori approach allows for each child to work at their own pace. My daughter is in kindergarten but is doing first grade work which is really great. The teachers are patient and kind with the students. There are extracurricular activities offered such as art, music, and dance. Every Friday we have a field trip in the community or a special event at the school which really helps extend learning outside of the classroom and provides a nice break from the routine of the week. We have liked our time here so far and we can’t wait to see how far our daughter progresses in her learning and overall development. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an alternative education that is vastly different than traditional public schools!

We are thrilled to have found this cozy, Montessori microschool for our son in 2nd grade. He comes from a homechool environment and Ms. Giselle has been very helpful in making this transition a pleasant and comfortable one for both my son and I. She’s been available to speak to when I’ve needed and very welcoming always. My son wakes up eager to go to school daily and i love to to hear him talk about the Montessori materials he works with. We’ve already shared some wonderful experiences as a small school community through celebrations and field trips, and we look forward to more experiences like this.We are extremely excited about our son’s educational journey here and we look forward to growing with this school!
